    If the ad companies did a better job of policing themselves I don't think it would be an issue, but pop up's, infected ad's, auto-playing ad's kinda brought about the popularity of ad-blocker.

    If they were static pictures with links that took low bandwidth and resources I'd prob not bother.

    In order to be LITERALLY stealing, you need an object of limited quantity to change owners, without the original owners consent. Thats why piracy isnt stealing and thats why add blocks arent stealing. (This is how its defined in law books)
    Which doesnt mean that add blocks or piracy are moral of course. You are still engaging in some kind of digital wellfare mooching (other people paying for the content you like to watch/play) They just arent LITERALLY stealing.

    This very website is the reason I installed adblock. It is MMo-Champions fault that I installed it. If only they decided that non invasive advertising was the way to go. Not videos that start blaring away in tabs that are not even in focus. MMO-C was stealing from me. I put a stop to that with ad block.

    i remove my adblocker as soon as they remove virus-ads, ads with music, ads that automatically open 3-4tabs etc etc

    Fucking pop ups that opens million tabs and want me to download plenty of viruses? - Nope.

    Consensus: Adblock, just in case of the second type of ads.
