Which of these epic video game trailers do you prefer?

I'm not sure if you guys are aware but video game trailers are really upping the ante lately.

Which of these do you think is better?







I've seen the first one more often and it really is a masterpiece. Makes you want to play the game and see what the hype is about.
But then the second one, love the cinematography. Great transition from the geeks in the park to randomly being challenged as you walk down the street.

I lean towards the 2nd one. Does anyone play either of these games?

Neither i don't think youtube celebrities or any of that matter should be in anything besides w/e they do for a living. I don't mean not have famous VAs or that I mean they shouldnt have their RL face shown or be mentioned at all for any reason.

Since when do people hype mobile trash like Game of War? Redundant and stale (Clash of Clans came like a year before it and even that game just rehashed an ancient browser game formula into a mobile game, kinda what Angry Birds did) mobile trash no less. Since when are over 3 years old games hyped, for that matter? And the second trailer is pretty much one of the most cringe-inducing trailers of all times These trailers are not "upping the ante" of anything (well, maybe garbage), they are lowering the bar for video game trailers.

Anyone remember that trailer, I think it was for Dead Island, where the whole thing played out in reverse? That was brilliant. Almost nothing to do with the actual game, but still.

Mind you, its out of the ridiculousness of the ad, not the actual quality.

How about a trailer that actually briefly covers many aspects of the game in a 2 minute video? Like the characters, the combat, and etc?

These are good trailers for TV, I suppose, but I would hardly call them "epic", and they definitely shouldn't count as official trailers. A great official trailer looks like this:
