Seems neat, has kind of a withered training feeling to it.
If I wasn't wearing Plate I would have been kinda pissed though. The sets are almost unchanged and look too much like dungeontrash. Pets are literally just small old dragons. At east the Title is nice for everyone.

I think the only salty one here, is u right now... Unless there is a rely nice reward which there is not, people might do this 3, MAYBE 5 times max. then its dead content, salt all u want defending blizzard, but with out a reward or reason to do said content, people will find better things to do. People like you just get all upset because people want to do content that is fun & rewarding, but u get all salt ass because u know the game is losing players, because 50% of the content is just skin/scale...

Its showing now, truth hurts the die hard fans.

Have you played any other MMO's recently? That's all they are.

The title is kinda neat, but I doubt I'll ever use anything other than 'the Magic Seeker'...
The xmog is just plain disgusting. It's even worse than the ToV ensembles and those are random drops. I'll definitely give it a whirl, probably try and get the title, but that's about it.

My interest in this is entirely dependent on just how many Timewarped Badges we get.

I hate Dr. Who so that title means nothing to me and I'm up to my ears in battle pets but allowing me to buy three new mounts without having to keep grinding dungeons I got sick of years ago would be totally worth it.

The scenario seems fun, but it's Karahzan all over again. Fun, definitely thumbs up, and then never touch it again after the first time because there's no point.

The fun aspect is satisfied after the first two or three times. We need a reward to grind over and over, which is what the whole game is about. Lets do M+ over and over, because titanforges and AP. Lets re-do raids, because skins or drops. Lets re-do Chromie... er... why?

Exactly, every other video game I play rarely lasts for than a month or two before I finish with it, what is it about MMOs that makes it mandatory for the game to always have new content? How hard is it to just do something else with your time?

What has been said is simple enough. Time and money has been put in this new content, but the rewards are weak. How many times can we repeat an event until it is no longer 'fun'? Would we re-do M+ and Withered Scenarios if all it had for it was 'fun'? Fun is enjoyed the first few times. Are we still doing WQs for 'fun' ater the first two months? No, because it had rewards we cared for. It's been pointed out. It's lazy. Old already existing low res mogs? It's Trial of Style all over again. At least Trial of Style might have its rewards upgraded, but I doubt Chromie will

Now if you don't care about time and money being poured into projects with very limited life spans that is fine too, baby noises and cancer wishing and all. The rest of us will just keep on shaking our heads and trying to remember that Blizz is a multi million company and in theory they aren't amateurs.

P.S. I really miss GW2's approach to cosmetics. I don't need or want all content to drop 'epix', I have raids for that. But more skins would never be a bad thing.

I've been getting increasingly annoyed at how this multi billion dollar company cannot design unique rewards such as armour sets or even battle pets to be tied into things like this, instead they toss out copy pastes all the bloody time, the titles nice but that's not enough for me to motivate myself to do this, hope those interested in this have fun with it though.

Some people are in it for the story, not the reward. If the story is good then that is the reward. WoW isn't just a reward button. No, completing the scenario isn't going to give you an item to one shot every boss in ToS, it just gives you something to do in a game that is full of things to do that no one does because they're too busy complaining about nothing to do.

This is the issue with the "free purples" design, no one wants to do the content just for fun, they expect to be in mythic raid gear while they do it without even a fraction of the effort it takes to get it.

The same type of people probably would buy 110 + itemlevel 955 gear boost from the store if it were a thing... and then hate on 99.9% of the rest of the game or players that are "inferior" to them.

Yeah so do I. And had they kept with that model other more appealing MMOs would have wiped the floor with them. But there's a thread in general to discuss what people believe are WoWs glory days so I'll leave it at this.

Also they could have easily designed unique armor sets for this. But no they went lazy mode and just thought "oh let's upscale the 4.3 dungeon pieces to HD, nobody will notice".

That is strange, it seems like the most popular expansions in the series were like that and that was when WoW was really crushing the competition, instead of kind of crushing the competition. Could it be that players are so over-rewarded in this game now that the mere thought of just playing the goddamn game is confusing?

On the "leaving the game" I have played since vanilla and I enjoyed most of the xpac, with their pro and cons, but you can bet that I never act like you and the other bunch of little kids that want istant gratification.
And this is the best thing.

So what if they copy pasted a transmog and recolored it, you know it makes sense that they chose that set as you know, the Cata End-time dungeon was a similar setting, you stop a future version of nozdormu, chromie is a bronze dragon too, and having a bronze-ish colored version fits the bronze theme.

People weren't complaining about just a transmog model, basicly they were going on about "no rewards = useless" as a whole....
