Raidbot confusion

so normally i do quick sim, but today i tried top gear sim and it had me replace gear but simmed almost 30k lower than what i consider my best gear, it always does that, im just curious as to why, if anyone knows

quick sim 1.096m dps-chest/belt and just 4pc T20
top gear 1.069m dps-has me do 4pc/2pc apex/belt

Not sure if it's the case, but could it also run multi target scenarios with the top gear setting?
I could see that the 2nd one would be better in that case.

Are your variables the same? Fight duration, fight style, etc?

i believe fight length and targets are the same, its just default settings
