I struggle to ever see gold as anything but $$ now...
500k on my server is around 75$...which I can't bring myself to spend.

500k is a fair price. If you have alts gold comes in at a fairly quick pace.

Yeah even today you can still get like 10k an hour just mining and herbing. If you do that for 1.5 hours a day for a month you will have enough.

500k gold? Eh... I think ill stick to using my gold on wow time. Cool mount but not worth it imo.

I think a lot of people feel that way now days. If its anywhere north of 400k I think it will be a fairly rarely seen mount. At first lots of richer people will get it, but give it 6 months it it will be rare.
