I will never buy a pair of shoes from Payless, ever.
No matter what brand it is, they never seem to hold up to even consider that they're cheaper.
Usually I aim for shoes that are around $45-60, and they'll usually last me around 2-3 years.

$50 is minimum for me
top is $70.
no need to pay any more than that
The most i've spent has been around $120. This was back when I was an avid skateboarder. These days, for just day to day clothes, I will not spend more than $80. Mostly in the $40-$60 range.
But my style is not "Fresh to death". I couldn't care less about popularity when it comes to my clothes. It's just not a concern of mine to wear expensive clothes.

20-30 dollar payless masterrace reporting in. Poor people ww@?
Off the top of my head, I'd say the average of my current set of shoes is about $250. I try to pick them up on sale. I'm never in a rush to have to buy new shoes, so i can wait until the holiday season. I wear mostly dress shoes (for work) and boots and loafers casually.
I'd say most of my shoes are between $100-$200. Those are like, some strappy sandals, my nice aluminum toed boots, my lifters, and my flat gym shoes. However, I also have a pair of fun $70 onitsuka tigers, and a ton of cheaper sandals and flip-flops. I actually spend most of my time in flip-flops. My former career had me going barefoot most of the time, so those were the most convenient. Also fun.

Nice shoes for women cost way more than $500, dude. Those are just gym shoes. Anyone can get a pair of Kobe 1s, 13s, etc.
180 - 200 ish I suppose on running shoes. It was on sale.
Recently purchased some ferragamo loafers. I'll post some pics when they arrive!
Kinda depends. Running shoes $100 max. If I want something to go with a suit I'm willing to go higher.
