A new "Six Million Dollar Man" series... how would you do it?

This thread is intended for those who would actually be interested in such a thing.

So, if HBO or another premium or cable channel were to announce a new "Westworld style" show based on the 70s science fiction classic "The Six Million Dollar Man," how would you want it done?

Personally, I'd make it a period piece. Keep it in a sci-fi fantasy version of the 70s. That way you can keep the iconic "Six Million Dollar Man" name and have it still make sense. Maybe at the end of the first season he does a Rip Van Winkle via "electro-sleep," but I'd definitely root the show in the 70s. I would include all the great concepts of the show, like the Sasquatch, aliens, fem-bots and such.

winner, great idea and it allows for any concept future or past - or even time travel!, cause, ya know, the 6 billion dollar man can do anything, amirite? (p.s. i grew up on that show, and would LOVE a reboot, cause it can be so cool)

Why? Six billion dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days either.

My only rule would be that Lee Majors is still the star.

That would be kind of tough, as he's rather over the hill these days... but I hear ya.
