Legion: Best expansion of ANY mmo?

No, Legion is not the best expansion of ANY MMO. It's not even WoWs best expansion.

Meh. It was the best. Though, that doesn't make it good. None of the Expansions were good.

TBC Was just Nostalgia, but it was shittier than MoP.

Wrath was over-hyped. As shit as Cata.

Cata is above WoD in terms of how good it was. But, that's only because Cata had an ending.

MoP makes me want to facepalm my way to the Twisting Nether.

And WoD isn't an Expansion. It's a Mega-Patch.

Legion is not good, either. But, it has good things to it:

1. Story. It's cool.

2. Sargeras, and Argus. They did these fuckers justice. They made Sargeras intimidating, and they made Argus have a purpose.

3. Illidan teaching the Army of Light how to not be so shit.

4. Velen actually saying more than "Light, bless us".

5. Kil'jaeden having his doubts.

And 6. The Fall of the biggest threat in Warcraft.

Oh, and the Music and Art are...neat. Also loving the Titans, and the Artifacts.

Now, for the bads:

Titanforging, RNG, 7.2, Suramar, The Sylvanas/Genn Arc, Anduin, Vol'jin, The Ho---who?, Alleria's story (Seems a bit rushed for me), Hatuun, Turalyon, Xe'ra, the Light, and more.

So, lemme rate it:

Legion- 4/10.

MoP- 2/10.

Cata- 1/10.

Wrath- 2.5/10.

TBC- 2/10.

And now, WoD- -1/10.

But, i'm going to rate Vanilla.

Vanilla- 4/10. Why? Cause, it shaped Warcraft.

Now, for the other games (Cause, I can).

Diablo- 0/10. (Forgot what it was).

Starcraft- 0.5/10. (Fuck that ending).

Overwatch- 0.3/10 (TFT is better).

Hearthstone- -1/10 (Litterally like Magic: The Gathering).

And, lastly, HoTS- 0.01/10. (Litterally Dota/LoL...just...Blizzard).

For me it is the best when compared with others WoW Expansions, but to say that is the best of all MMOS is kinda BS as it would be needed to play every fucking exp of every other MMORPG outhere.

Legion has been a fantastic expansion but honestly I haven't been playing it as much as I played during TBC, WotLK, or even Classic. And it's not like I hopped over to another MMORPG, I just lost interest. It's certainly better than Cataclysm and WoD, and it's on par with or better than Mists of Pandaria in various instances, mechanically at least.

Legion has way too much forced grinding on boring things. Just as you need to have enough to do to not get bored, having too much to do can be even worse. Legion has burned me out like crazy and even now I'm taking a hiatus from the game.

I will say though, that Legion has had a very interesting story and it gives me hope for Blizzard's lore department; even if the story is relatively shallow, they are willing to make dramatic choices, and build a more immersive world from original concepts instead of piggybacking old ones, something I feel this game has largely lacked (with the exception of MoP).

Personally, my favorite expansion was WotLK, though TBC and classic held something special to me by building the type of MMORPG I always wanted in its infancy -- I love those periods of WoW more for the community than the game itself. However, I don't want to include them since in terms of content and quality, they can't compare with modern expansions (aside from the shitshow that was WoD). MoP is a close second to WotLK though, and I feel it is largely underrated. Legion is actually a pretty good expansion, but it has a lot of major flaws that haven't been entirely eliminated. Cataclysm was really bad, and WoD was worse. (TBC is probably somewhere between Cataclysm and Legion in terms of comparing its age old content with modern content, but far ahead in terms of single handedly building the themepark MMORPG genre.)

In short, even though this is probably a troll thread, I don't think Legion is a godawful expansion. It has flaws, but it's at least halfway decent, and is getting shit on more than it deserves IMO.
