good evening, was browsing trough and found something that cought my eyes.

could someone tell me the name on the actionbar addon he is using?

Could be any of them. He's got kgpanels around them, which is what creates the border around them. Also, he's using a ButtonFacade skin - looks like one of the Entropy skins, perhaps Entropy:Adamant or Entropy:Mithril. I believe they're all in one package called "ButtonFacade_Entropy" - I haven't used them since BC, so my memory could be off.

Well, some people like me would. I regularly alter addons to make them fit my UI better, and I don't want/need most of Forte's "goodies" - they're just wasted memory/cpu time, unless you have a raiding warlock, imho, and my 'lock is only level 12. :-) If I wasn't using another addon already to track my dots/debuffs on my target, I'd probably have more use for it's dot/debuff timer, to be honest. There are a large number of people out there who are as bad as or worse than I am when it comes down to that. Just that few of them post here. *grin* Check out the "Post Your UI" threads over at WoWI and WoWAce, the discussion of altered addons for visual impact or coherency is quite lively.

Is it bad i get really frustrated when people post their UI's to show them off, but then no addons list?

Two things - What is the map addon he is using? Ive been using Simply Minimap, and just today it stopped working for some reason. If this IS simple minimap then anyone know of any others? Not looking for sexy map, thats got too much going on.

Also, what are the artsy lines that border around his cast bars and such?

That's Sexy Map, if you want I tell you the config settings to get it like that in PMs. As for the cast bar, if you mean the top Blink & Ice Block, thats ForteExcorcist I believe, I can guide you through that as well if you like, I'm not sure about the white border around the rest of the UI though.

To get sexy map to look like that go to Borders and delete the 3 that it comes with. Pretty sure its Rune 1 & 2, and I think the last one is Fade. Set the minimap shape to Square, its also in the Borders category. That should do it.

If you want to hide the clock, go to buttons and set it to never show or show on hover and if you want Coordinates or Zone name turned on without their borders, open up their panels Coordinates/Zone button open up the background and border color editors then set the 2nd slider to 0%.



It'll end up looking like this, but you can move the Zone name and Coordinates wherever you want.

Looks like BasicMinimap. I used SMM too, and then after 3.2 it decided to not show cities and stuff. My minimap looks exactly like that one from what I can see, and I swapped to BMM recently. So... yeah. :P

Did you also enable portraits on the frames you want portraits enabled on? Because just enabling it in the module drop down menu won't do a thing.

1) That map could be any of the major map mods - Mine looked like that with BasicMiniMap, Mappy, pMinimap, and currently looks like that with Chinchilla.

Hey!

I've been trying to do my own little UI for sometime now. And i've allways wonderd how people make there Pitbull player frame dissapear when they don't have a target.
I've looked through the options and there doesnt seem to be one for it. Now I don't know if you have to script some thing to make that happen. But it would be nice if someone would help me out on that question.

Zephonim, it's the "opacity" options. You can't truly "hide" the Player frame based on combat/not-in-combat, but you can change it's opacity. Pitbull 3 and 4 both have options for this (somewhere - it's been a while since I've used either one). Just set the out-of-combat opacity to fully transparent, and the in-combat opacity to fully visible.

I'm looking for a mod that when ever you crit your screen shakes and blood splatters on it. I saw it once in a video, I'm trying to find it again and will post up if I do. LOL I just love watching it Thanks much if anyone can help.

I just bought a Chopper and plan on getting a Travelers Mammoth in 1-2 weeks, Anyone know how to move the Vehicle UI underneath your MiniMap? The thing where Vehicle is located and you get kick people out or other stuff.
