I wear my dungeon tier1 and Rhok/Lhok for boss kill shots, along with my Orb of the Sindorei. Don't think for a second I actually have the stuff equipped for the fights.

You missed out that Methods priest used Benediction and Tier3 for the killshot as well?

Seriously dude, you need to raid more. Alot of us put our "best looking" gear on for killshots. And Tier3 is surpreme in looks !

Actually being exalted does provide a slightly better chance of recieving blue gems than being revered, according to wowheads stats:

And how can you trust those stats when they are player made?

There is not as many exalted versions as revered, and it's only a few thousands.
You can't really base a droprate on that. The RNG evens out the difference, resulting in the gem difference being insignifigent.

My alts still get better gems than my exalted mains , so it's a really moot point.

The third door of Sunwell Plateau was opened on 27th May in cwow, if the gate wouldnt have opened a week later for them this would be a world 2nd.
