Question regarding paying online

Basically; I quit my character. Gamecard is over now. Won't renew it.

When cataclysm hits, I'm making a new account. I want to to renew my old account for like a day so I can send all my gold to this new account.

Is this possible? What is the minimum time you can pay for?

Send yourself a scroll of resurrection from the new account, that will give you like 10 days for free.

As far as I know you have to pay for a month, there is no lesser option. Try a Scroll of Resurrection if it has been down long enough.

2. Why not pay, delete all chars and stars new ones?
