It happends EVERY single week in our guild. First time everyone but one DK died. It was so funny. If they kick you from arena teams and reject you from the guild, they have no clue what fun is.

A cheer from me aswell, your guild/friends in arena are total losers. It's a game, you're supposed to have fun. Let them sulk in their "MATURITY" and realization that WoW is totally srs bsns.

S*** happens, you were just unlucky to be in a guild with very mean people. Rez up and then you should be fine on the next attempt. And anyhow, they must be cheapskates if they want 10g, you only need to do one daily, and this comes from a person who hates dailies.

Edit 2: Another thing, downing the boss will give you 10g+, wouldn't it?
