Starting Zones. non-agro?!

So, i just rolled a Draenei pally. One of the first things i notice, all the formerly agro mobs in the starting zone, are no longer agressive.

Is this the case in ALL starting zones now?

That's somewhat saddening, seeing as the quest lines almost all talk about the battle for some homeland. No agressive mobs... no... battle...? lol

Wowhead lists quite a few creatures as Alliance Hostile

i was referring to the VERY start. level 1-5 all the formerly agro mob's are neutral now.

I counted quite a few mobs who are level 3 and up which are still hostile. However, with Blizzard's latest capmaign to make things a little easier for new players, I can see this being changed. Nothing game-breaking and just a small adjustment for beginning players. People who have levelled at least one character before will take on higher level mobs with great ease anyway.

I don't find this "saddening" and see this as a good thing.
Not like all the lore is destroyed by this single change to a few lowbie mobs.

The mobs within the initial enclosed 1-5 areas, before your first inn have all neutral mobs now.

It's for people entirely new to MMOs, not players rolling alts. Getting gangbanged over and over after you stumble in the
wrong direction for a few seconds is not a good way to be introduced to the game.

You do not get stuck for getting killed once or twice by a handful of mobs. You simply waste some time, and it's not the best feeling ever. I remember getting beaten up pretty badly on my first character by the Defias at the Elwynn starting zone, so I welcome the change, even if I don't have any issues concerning this any more.

Makes the shaman totem quest for orcs and trolls a lot easier

makes getting the pick or hammer or whatever it was and the medallion for orcs and trolls almost eerie.

walking through the cave, demons litter the landscape. all seem to not give two shits that you are wandering in their territory
