It is and, fact is, if anyone should be left out it rightfully should be the one with Agility Strength. There exist no specs that doesn't benefit from any of the available rings. That said, the healer/caster ring could have been merged, but that would remove the possibility for the healing proc. So I think leaving out the Strength ring was the right decision for now.

What they should have done is maed a spell caster ring suitable for all spell casters, which can be done, just put stam, intel, sp, haste, crit and then a joint proc like, your spell casts have a chance to increase spell power by x amount.

This would have made everyone happy

I want a caster version of Shadowmorne for my Priest. I don't care if it is an item not designed to be perfect for my class, I want it anyway, and I want them to put in one for my exact talent spec.

And that's just being dumb, legendaries are made for specific classes each time, and you had yours with val'nyr. A quest like this is intended for everyone to receive a reward for clearing the raid so much and therefore there should be a reward that actually fits for everyone. Not just jew pretty much 1/5th of the players (there are a lot of DK's and Ret pallies remember)

Take the Attack Power one then. Or get a ring from the raid with Strength on it. Me asking for a caster Shadowmorne is exactly the same, I want something that isn't designed for my class to be changed so I can get exactly what I want.

edit: Legendaries are made for specific classes? Which specific class was Val'anar made for? Druids? Priests? Or was it for every healing class and the stats were of slightly more benefit for some talent specs or classes. Not unlike the Healing Ashen Verdict ring. And you Plate wearers can get Shadowmorne with its stacking up to 360 strength for DPS, while nobody else can.
