One little question reg Arcane Rotation...Not typical

Hello all, I have read about the rotation etc, One little question I have is:

Let's say we are fighting the boss. I stack AB then AB and suddenly Miss Barr procs, should I wait to get it to 4 AB and then unleash Miss Barr or should I just pop before I get to 4 stacks and then repeat the rotation?

Please don't flame, just really curious. Thanks in advance everyone.

Well TBH if you have the gear I would say drop a 5th arcane blast before using Arcane Barrage.

To answer your question, No, do not use Missiles until you get 4 stack again....unless you know that you are gonna have to move, then use it earlier, but other than that missiles+4 stack always.

Rojer that! Thanks for the tip, I kinda did exactly that but I wasn't sure 100%. Now it's all clear, I guess my gear still needs some upgrades. I can probably put 5th stack of AB before I unleash missile fury!

With T10x2 you'll probably always use the proc no matter how many stacks you have.

There is no reason to ever go past your fourth cast when you have a proc if there is still a long amount of time left in the fight. You need to consider that you may NEED to be go past your fourth cast because you DIDN'T get a proc, but if you do it all the time you will not have the mana for proc fishing and will lose dps from evocation or breaking stacks.

Depends on mana if the boss is 70% and you are already coming close to oom for instance youd want to use the missiles as soon as they proc for a higher mps rotation but if you had ample mana then 4 ab and missiles saving the proc works.

Since in this case the ABar was not used anyway I've explored another model where ABar is not an option at all, but instead allow spell selection to depend on exact 2T10 duration left. The optimal cycles were the same which confirms that one shouldn't concern themselves with the exact timing to achieve optimal play.

So optimal cycles remain the same, with the exception that AB spam is no longer optimal. The values for AB spam for comparison are 7882.308 Dps, 696.4657 Mps.

This assumes 2T10. Without 2T10 AB spam is optimal only in situations where mana is not a concern or when the target needs to die right now. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the rotation notation ( :P).
