Please help me analyze this dps log comparison.

Hi, I saw this fellow druids parse and wanted to know where the big diff in dmg/dps is?
It can't be uptime, bc mine is better.
Time of fight? Yet in less time he did more white dmg...
Gear? His gear is slightly better imo.
Haste? His trinkets?
Mongoose on his weapon?
The fact he has a mangle bot?

Edit: I might have logged with my tank weapon equipped. I think armory will update my ArP weapon soon.
I have a draenei for hit cap and use 40 exp food to cap at 26.

Manglebot & gear would be my guess. He's probably got you beat by better than 1k ap self buffed and probably close to 2k raid buffed.

That looks like a really short fight. Can you give us a longer log? This has only 20 shreds total.

I imported his toon into RAWR and compared it, fully raid buffed to me.
He had 13124 AP, I had 12488 AP... so 636 AP diff.

I got 2p T10 2p T9, whereas he decided to go with 2p T9 with 3 off pieces.
I figured taking the 2x bonuses would be good.
I can't see myself crafting the boots and legs he has if I was just going to replace them shortly.

He's got 200 crit rating and 80ish more agi than you. He also got an armor pen trinket proc only, while you got dbw. RNG perhaps?

I gemmed to 800 Arp so with DBW I hit 1400 cap.
I really suspect his 200+ haste, incl the trinket and mongoose has a big deal to do with him doing 100k more white dmg than me in a 40sec less fight...

keep in mind that dbw gives you 3 different procs so you wont have 1400 each time it procs.

compare average rake and average rip, he obviously has more gear/buffs/procs, AP than you. They're a very static co-efficient.

I was told today, and I believe someone mentioned it in another thread, that DBW does not proc ArPen anymore but Haste instead, because it was unreliable as an ArPen proc trinket and otherwise the proc would be wasted when people would go for the hardcap.

there is quite a huge gap in gear i believe, he has :
neck, back, chest, leggs, feet from ICC
he has the exalted reputation ring !! (nice proc !)

he is arp softcap with a "reliable" proc trinket (on the contrary of dbw)
he is hit/exp caped without food (so +40agi i presume)
the haste trinket => a lot lot more white hits !! (you were looking for a difference on whites ... 13% haste (you) vs 25% (him))
