Actually it did happen and it was during TBC (S3 if i remember right). There was a holly pally and warlock (i think? I know pally for sure) that got UP TO 3000 TR/PR via win trading ect. At the time they were the highest in the world by like... 270 or more points. This was one of the things that got people QQing about how blizz never punished win trading on the EU BGs where as many people had their gear striped for doing so on US BGs. Yog/Woundman/Douja were the first to break 3k after the cap was removed. Reckful's team hit the cap and sat there til the last day or so.

The protwar played to glad in season 5/6 so he isnt just some random that picked an OP team. He's actually really good.
Because some players aren't looking for anything logical, like loot. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some players just want to watch the group fail.
