    THIS
okay it only has 32mb cache and less RPM, but its 2 TB.
    140€ = ~~200$
    for 2TB not 1TB for 300$

i would rather have 1second more loading screen & the double amount of space that that thing you posted.
and note: not everyone wants to spend 1000$ for a new system.
my one costed 500€ and since i only upgraded RAM to 4GB for 80€, and it runs smooth even if he is 4years old

    Same Drive $20 USD/ 12 Euros Cheaper.

I was wrong in stating $200 for 1 TB though. Pulled the number out of my head on that one.

    Ah I see, fair enough
Also I can't spill liquid on it/on the keyboard/mouse, as they have liquid-emersion sensors in and the technicians will WTFpwn me and not replace it :P So I'm uber careful about liquids near it

Also, to the OP, an SSD harddrive will speed up your loading times a bit, but imo aren't worth the extra money.

Your best bet for load time is doing a Raid 0 (Stripped) setup. 250GB x4 and most MBs are coming with 6 SATA connectors with raid controller.

@pansertjald: Last time I checked, there is only a single line of cards that is dx11 compatible, the radeon 5xxx. With such limited cards on the market (and the top of the lines in state of constantly sold out) any game publisher would be insane to release a game that almost no one can play. They are not releasing dx11 required games in the next 2 months, closer to 2 years, and even then majority will still be dx10.
yes that gives you 4 cards to pick from plus all the OC cards too.......
ofc they don`t make any games that only runs on dx11......... its just like with dx10. if your card supports it, you will get a game that looks alot better then if you run it in dx10.
and m8 we all ready have dx11 games out now, and yes there are alot of dx11 games on the way now.
allso nvidia is coming with there dx11 cards in mach, called fermi (gtx300) so the game publishers are not being insane in making dx11 games and as i said before, they will still run on dx10, but will look better on dx11

its not for fun that i got a 5870 insted of the gtx295 i had

I'm also thinking about buying a gaming computer. Can anyone tell me if this would run WoW at high settings well, in 25-man raids?

    Re: Building a Gaming Computer

    @ OP

From what I've read, a lot of these specs people are sharing aren't including OS or Microsoft Office (if you need it), so you will also need to keep that in mind because the two can be around an extra 300 bucks.

Unless I'm wrong and you do not need to purchase an OS/Office, in that case, sorry! Just trying to be helpful ^^

TBH no.. it will not run WoW on Full settings anywhere close, the GT 210 that they put into that system is basically used for web browsing to me.

Best bet when designing and thinking about a new computer, is to do alot of research on the parts that peak your interest. Alot of people automatically assume that since a mobo can support DDR3 Ram, that it will accept the 6GB kits of Triple channel. Another thing to pay attention to ESPECIALLY when building a Core i5 or i7 system is that the Voltages on the Ram do NOT Exceed 1.65 volts EVER. The system will not post, you will not get anywhere at all.

Also a Great resource I have found (other then google) for comparing Videocards is GPUReview.com they actually have a "compare cards" section, where you can actually compare Nvidia and ATI (basic cards, none of the OC or SSC Crap) to get the comparison for performance.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM Me on here, I am a computer Salesman (not big box, but actual performance custom build computers), and I have a very big pool of information to Draw from at my work if need be. But PLEASE keep it respectable, I do have a job, and I can't answer 500 messages a day lol.
