Warlock Buffs in patch 3.3.2

I'm sure these will be on the front page within a few hours, but for those who are as impatient as me:

Warlock

Affliction

* Shadow Embrace: Now stacks 3 times. Healing reduction effect reduced to 2/4/8/10% (down from 3/6/9/12/15%).

Demonology

* Demonic Pact: This talent now increases your spell damage by 2/4/6/8/10% (up from 1/2/3/4/5%). The benefit to party/raid members remains unchanged.

Destruction

* Conflagrate: Periodic Spell damage increased to 40% (Up from 20%)
* Empowered Imp: Damage done by imp increased to 10/20/30% (Up from 5/10/15%)
* Improved Shadow Bolt: Now increases Shadow Bolt damage 2/4/6/8/10% (Up from 1/2/3/4/5%)

Obviously due at next maintenance, wherever you are.

Edit: Yeah ok, so subsequent maintenance (3rd Feb EU). To be fair, it was widely rumoured to be this week and there wasn't much info going around to the contrary. Also, I'm very, very tired.

should equal out to a nice dmg increase^^

a while back they announced some changes they were thinking of making to buff warlocks and tomorrow's maintenance day so it is possible for a minor patch tomorrow.

Demo has a huge buff in that minor patch. Demonic Pact 5% Damage (Not raid SP boost, Just Self damage) and IMP SBolt 5% Gain. Over all together this is a nice damage boost to Demo. I must say I like. Should let me get top damage on a few fights for my 10man raid group anyway.

with affliction currently being the theoretical best dps spec atm.. i dnt see it being over taken as it will also take advantage of the sb buff... ALONG with 5% dot dmg buff


hopefully locks can put up a competition against all those cocky mages and rogues now :P

No, but srsly those are some nice improvement , i'm rly looking forward to put demo to the test , it might become a rly nice spec now, and just seeing the insane amount of SP on your character pane will be sweet ^^

I'm interested to see how the Demo buff pans out. They mention that the DP buff is unchanged, but they do not say that the buff amount would be unaltered. If that's the case it's also a 5% increase to the SP supplied to the raid buff.

Right now it's 100 -> 105 -> 115.5. The wording of the notes is vague and implies 100 -> 110 -> 121 with the raid buff going from 10.5 to 11. Nice buffs either way, but it will be fun to see how it works out in game. Also need to check how the new 3x stacking for Afflic will factor into rotations.
