I'm not convinced by Milk Teeth to be honest.
Only gave them one listen to be fair though.

Sounds like it's picking up right where Colored Sands left off, which is more than OK by me. CS is one of the finest metal albums I've heard in a while.

One thing that strikes me with the new one is that it doesn't reconstruct the entire genre. Obscura essentially turned death metal on its head and Coloured Sands was them inventing themselves over as well. This ties in a bit too closely with Coloured Sands, but at the same time... that was an incredibly good album.

Shame it's only going to be an EP, really digging that new tune.

Pretty good American black metal. The opening track actually reminds me of older Lux Occulta.

Those last three words certainly piqued my curiosity.

I'll give it a listen after I finish this soothing synth pop:

It is only really the first track, in the early parts, False is overall a much more brutal assault on the senses than Lux Occulta.

Not a fan of the vocals. Can understand why you'd be reminded of Lux Occulta though. The sense of melody does ring a bell.

Though it's mostly for the older stuff, rather than the more avant-garde stuff like this (not to mention their latest, which has very little bearing on metal).

I feel disgusting for liking the new Babymetal song.
I know it's all prefabricated and all that, but it's still a banger.

New Zakk Wylde and Rob Zombie are both great as well.
    Good day.

Just found out Zakk Wylde is coming by my home town in June.
    Cracking.
Last time I saw him he was awesome, didn't go overboard with the solos; just right.

I was curious about the new Rob Zombie after someone mentioned it to me, and I agreed with their assessment: total Primus ripoff.

Personally also find the vocals the weak point of False. I am not much of a fan of the later Lux Occulta. I don't think it is bad per say but I really prefer the first two albums. Especially Dionysos is amazing.

Can see why people'd say that. I like the more break-away stuff like The Mother...

Only a few more hours till I see Obituary and Cryptopsy. Should be fun.

Im familiar with Myrath, and enjoy the hell out of Tales of the sands, Will def check out the other three
