No doubt, Black Sarcophagus is something else, hell of a way to end an album. I'll be on this for months now, I blame you

    New Azarath on the horizon

The new Ulver is a legitimate 9-9.5/10.

After giving the new Mastodon record time I've come to the conclusion that it's brilliant.

I assume you already checked out Acrimonious, Nightbringer, Dodecahedron and The Great Old Ones?

GOO yes, no to the others but I'm going to listen to Nightbringer right now because they are great.

Isn't the new Jesu release just a compilation?

Well, it's "only" a compilation but it'll still end up being about 2h long, I guess.

edit: RYM has a calendar for upcoming releases too, but it only seems to track stuff by bands that you've already rated. I usually just check metalstorm every now and then for upcoming releases and bookmark tracks off of upcoming albums that I want to keep an eye on.
I'm using hasitleaked for the short term. Long term, I don't really bother or care that much.

Useless info: Malakia means ailment that softens (the muscles, but can also mean the mind/spirit) in Greek. Also used as slang for masturbation.

Less impressed with it, mostly because over time the production keeps getting cleaner. I love the grimier sound of some of the earlier stuff.

    To clear the air:

Rain Upon the Impure > Unlock the Shrine > Foulest Semen >>> Blood Vaults

This is a literal tidal wave
