It's the exact same as the one on bandcamp at least. The EP nabbed us an 8/10 review and an email interview as well, so that's pretty nifty.

That's cool. I like the track as well. Nice work on the lyrics video.

Cheers. Takes me way too long to make, but no one is going to do it for me, so...

I'll jam the whole EP and post it on Sputnikmusic's database later today. They have a fairly active BM community.

Fake edit: Oh, and your other albums, too.

I also love how they kept the artstyle consistent. Arrow in Heart was one of the albums of the year for me, so I have high hopes for the upcoming one.

New Blut Aus Nord sounds absolutely alien and eerie as all fuck. Linky

    I'm supremely hyped.

Lost interest in them years ago, really.

Will be nice to see these fine lads play again. This time at Soulcrusher, among Mayhem, Today is the Day, Celeste, Rorcal and many others.

In the end, that one turned out 'okay'. As in, I don't actively dislike it, like with RIITIIR.

Seeing how high rated Mardraum is surprises me a bit. I'd have expected Vertebrae to be higher up. Though I am 'done' listening to that album.

Anyone got a good primer or chart for deathcore? I ordered a Carnifex hat because I thought it was pretty good looking and have only heard their latest album and enjoyed it quite a bit, and the only other dxc I really know is TIAM so I'd like to get more into the genre as bad as I'm sure it is overall. Need a short break from BM

The top rated RYM band being named Slice the Cake speaks volumes about the deathcore genre.

Deathcore isn't really my thing either, but when I went to see Meshuggah earlier this year a deathcore band named Thy Art Is Murder were the support. As a live act they were interactive and fun at the very least. I decided to open up a song when I got home and ended up shelving it though, I just can't get into the genre.

Are they who you were referring to here though?

Yeah I was talking about Thy Art is Murder, fucked up the acronym. I spent most of last night listening to some of the bigger names in dxc and I can definitely see the appeal of the genre now, but I'm going to be only a tourist with it and binge on it for a bit before returning to my comfort zone of BM and DM.

So far the standout bands are still the only 2 I already enjoyed, Carnifex and TAIM. As Blood Runs Black's debut is pretty good though, was getting some Slaughter of the Soul vibes from it.

Fucking hate the genre. Like most mash ups, it decided to take the boring pieces of the parent genre and slam them together. There's exceptionally few bands I'd be interested in.

For some reason I remember the name of Oceano, so they might not be totally abysmal.

Yeah from what I've heard from various bands it seems like it. I knew the album was a huge influence on metalcore, appears deathcore draws heavily from it as well.

I neither like Deathcore nor Metalcore. Really not my thing.

    https://hallatar.bandcamp.com/

Hallatar (No Stars upon the Bridge) album was released yesterday for those who like doom. It has Juha Raivio from Trees of Eternity / Swallow the Sun. The album's lyrics are based on Aleah Starbridge's previously written poems and lyrics. I haven't had time to listen to the album yet, only heard the track Mirrors.

I'm afraid to listen to this and become depressed.
