Omen - Recount Switcher

Is there such an addon or somthing where It hides recount in combat and shows omen?
and when you leave combat recount shows back up.

You can set Recount to hide in combat and (probably) Omen to show in combat.

Alternatively, there are AddOns out there (such as Skada) that monitor both threat and damage done. It allows the mode to change depending on whether you're in combat or not.

but yeah, just use the options of the addons themself to set it up much more reliable.

Omen to show in combat, and recount to autohide in combat, then just overlap them, should work

There's also a couple of options for just removing Omen.

1) RecountThreat - adds a threat display to Recount, as well as the ability to auto-switch to the threat display when in combat, and back to your previous display when ooc.

2) Skada - A replacement for Recount. Does largely the same things, and has a large and growing following. This includes a threat meter, and also has the option to auto-switch to threat when in combat, and back to your previous display when ooc. (I prefer it to Recount+RecountThreat, only because it seems to update the bars more often when in combat - RecountThreat always feels like it's lagging, the information is only updated every couple of seconds).

While it is possible to have Recount/Omen toggle the correct directions in combat, I found that having it macroed via toggle was far easier. Sometimes you want to see where dps is on a fight, and sometimes you don't care about threat. Being able to do it myself was much nicer.

But I use Skada now and don't have to worry about it.

the only thing i miss from Omen is the audible threat alarm.

I want recount visable in combat and not ooc how do i manage that?

sleekit, yes, Skada has both a visible and audible threat alarm, and it can be set to go off at any percentage of the tank's threat.

Jasje, you'd have to script another addon to toggle Recount visible IC and hidden OOC. Recount does not have that ability built in.
