    Demo PvP

Ok so I know this is pretty much the "worst" spec for PvP but I have a warlock alt and I'm looking for a good laugh. I'm simply going to be doing BGs with friends and I wanted to know what kind of talent points I should be using. My main goal is to see huge soul fire crits and use meta as much as possible for jokes. Would a build like this be viable? http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IZ0GchkAbihsgdAoE00V:Tno

In terms of glyphs, what should I be using? felguard, quick decay and? Thanks for the help... also, if any of you out there are demo in PvP, please don't be shy and post your armory, thanks!

nobody can answer me? what about a basic rotation... PvE or PvP, what would it be? SB, Immolate, corrput, CoA and then soul fire procs? How would it work, I've never played demo before

Hey look, it's my PvE spec for Demo

If you want to roll with this for PvP, you should probably get the Meta glyph instead of Life Tap. If you are left alone and get some MC procs and can decimate some people it could be fun. Unforunately, if Meta is on CD and someone is on you, you are as good as dead.

I'd throw up CoE instead of CoA. Throw Corruption on everything moving so you can get MC procs, and if you have time get Immolate up and Shadow Bolt all the while praying for no one to see you.

No snares, no stuns, enjoy getting interrupted and stunned to death when your meta is on CD. You can't just burst people down anymore in arena, especially at that high of a rating with the resil changes. I suspect affliction would be the best spec for arena now days, but I really have no idea b/c I think arena is stupid and don't do it. Destro is still the most fun in BG's though, especially when you find some turd in there wearing weak PvE gear.

Demo used to be pretty fun in BGs before the resil change, but its easy to get locked out of casting anything. Not to mention popping meta screams "kill me now, i just blew my CD"

Buff affl is soo powerful now in PvP right now, it's almost stupid not pvp as affl.

yesterday just messing around with comps me and my druid got bored and made a 2s and put all my pve gear one and went in as my demo spec and we just run in and nuke.
its hilarious to charge immo aura cyclone healer get the person to 35% and spam SF no way the healers can heal through 9 scs of sf while theyre already low
He who is truly mediocre exerts himself 100%, it is not his efforts that fall short but his ability. Don't be a mediocre poser.

    Re: Demo PvP

Honestly i found myself in the same boat as you about a month ago (before resil changes) and decided to try demo in pvp. I started with a spec similar to the ones posted and i soon found relitively no burst and no dispell protection, mc and decimate were useless. I was determined to learn the spec and how to play and give it a good go, after alot of trial and error this is the best spec i came up with http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IZ0GchkAdicsxuhoVf0qohnd bascially all you can do is fear and dot and spam searing pain (sb and incin is just asking to be kicked, cs, fd or interupted in some way by pretty much every other class) I was able to get 4-5k crits and 2-3k normal hits and my cast time was 1.4sec so in conjunction with the dots and meta (immo aura) it was the most viable playstyle i found.

But honestly after a few weeks the short bursts of fun and laughing at rogues stunlocking and burning to death from immo aura subsideded when you can get owned by a disc priest or a resto druids, simple because they can out heal your damage quite easily and dps you down after u waste all your mana re applying your dots/curse. Its just not viable, afflic has more versatility, survivability and is just damnright more fun to play. Even tho i pvp desto
    More pew pew less QQ

    Re: Demo PvP

Just go with PvE Specc and nuke with the shit out of people with insane spellpower numbers and insane soulfire crits. Or take out whole packs with immolation aura. However, its completly shit in Arena because it has no dispell protection and does no damage when being focussed.
