    Invincible's armor...

I understand that when the Scourge inflicted the nerubians, the Scourge addopted the Nerubian Architecture.
But if you look at Invincible (Arthas' Steed), his armor looks Nerubian almost, though as far as I can remember, Scourge use death black/blue/grey armor.

May be hard to see, but his "Crown", sadle, and Chest (?) armor look Nerubian-esque.

    Any ideas?

Word of Metzen is that a large amount of Scourge architecture was stolen from the Nerubians. Could just be cultural osmosis.

Or, thinking in terms of fiction, maybe they just wanted it to look cool.

I think the crown looks like a mini version of Helm Of Domination and the rest of the armor death-knightish

Is it just me, or did you answer your own question there? Anyway it's very likely that the armor is "nerubian themed" considering the way most things "scourge" look.
