Whats ur dps ele shamans

I was just wondering now that most 25 ICC man raiding guilds are now 10+/12 normal. I was wondering what ur dps Ave. out to be for u ele shamans per boss. I have gotten up to 9.5 on some bosses w/o BL but on ave. I do 7.7 with my server lag and running from slims/adds/aoe......What do u guys<ele shamans> do in 25 ICC

It "might" depend on what boss you referr to :

some 8.5k-9k (high movement boss')

some 10.5k

I'd say an average of 9k if your 6/12+ heroics.

It's very situational.

You can top meters (did on Arthas 25 o/ ) as you can be in the middle, but nevertheless elem now has a very constant and competitive dps.




This is ONLY TRUE if you have a demonolock in your raid. Otherwise your dps will drop a lot.

Wow, I must be failing somewhere then because on a boss like 25m Festergut (depending on the vile spew or w/e it's called) I'm only doing approx 5.5k dps. I mean, my rotation is pretty much the standard which is Flame Shock > Lava Burst > LB > CL > LB (until LvB is ready) rinse & repeat

Judging by your gear you should be able to do 9k+ dps, IF (here is the big if) you stand in the melee camp and don't have to drop ToW.
If you don't have to drop ToW, make sure to pop Fire ele as soon as your spellpower is maxed out (i.e. trinket stacks/proc, potion and demonic pact).

Interesting. On my guild runs I'm usually out with the ranged and there's usually another ele shammy in the raid so I drop a searing totem. I'm slapping myself right now cause I always forget about the fire elemental, so I'll have to get my shit together for tonight's raid lol.

Varies from 7 to 8k dropping ToW and up to 9.8k with another ele in the raid or a demo lock.
My poor shaman is stuck with Dying Curse tho... I can never win rolls on my alts :'(

Wig, that's pretty impressive....I know we don't usually have a demo lock in the raid, but I highly doubt that's why my dps is sucky. I guess I will be doing more research about dps. I will be grabbing my 4pc T10 tonight so I really don't know if that will be of any help or not.

With a demo lock I do 8.5k on festergut more if I stand on meelee.
However I use saurfang as a standar tbh so saurfang is 8.3k for me.
If I have to drop ToW I don't look at the meters.

Saurfang Hardmode was ~10.6k for me before the 5% damage buff. On stationary fights, or stationary fights with a little cleave, shamans do fine.

In melee range, with demo lock and 5% buff (500 dps). This was a try without that much lag that we normally have on wednesdays and thursdays .

Think about the 30% buff.

11000 * 1,3 = 14300 dps
