Icecrown in the Weeping Quarry, down in that little pool of water where occasionally, there will be a saronite or titanium node, I swam down a tiny bit and noticed a sort of toothy mouth thing -- almost old god-like

the area your in is most likely a nerubian area. They had a war w/ the scourge and as the war got worse, they dug deeper, until they awakend the Faceless ones. Most likely thats one of the spots they popped up in. Theres another near-by place Ymirheim, w/ a cave that has a huge/deep fissure in the back. Theres a faceless one there to who has you fight the Vyrkral for him.
