For the first time, I'm scared by having Blizzard withdraw money automatically from my bank every month...
This is some serious shit. I've played WAR for a month or two last year. Glad I quit.
What is worth fighting for?
these things aren't just about money.Originally Posted by ScottK15

it's their service, even if they charge you for only 2 dollars too much.
Not sure what you're stating, but I was simply saying that for some reason after payment, Blizzard charged him 14 times, a charge of $1.00 (Not a subscription fee). Pretty much the same situation as this, but to a much smaller degree.Originally Posted by ScottK15

Something I saw in the many pages was that people who had previously canceled their account suddenly had it billed multiple times. So if you's played on it in the past, give your bank account a looking at...
To purr, or not to purr...
Blizzards customer service has always been one of the best, only reason it has a long wait time is because every dumbass wants a GM joke.
You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.
I was sitting around laughing at all these people.
When I remembered, I used to play this and I've been affected aswell...
Tough luck.

So to those that have or had a War account, I'd suggest you got check it just in case, it seems they even charged canceled accounts.

WAR doesn't charge for stupid things like server transfers.

I hope that this post is a troll otherwise I see this hitting national news if it hasn't already:
Holy shit... RIP WARHi, I am experiencing the same problem as everyone else, and now
I AM IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!!
my bank account has $2 and change in it, I have 1 diaper left, enough food to barely make a lunch, and three little boys that are expecting clean butt's and dinner tonight.
I've spoken with my bank and they said even if I dispute the extra charges it'll be over 24 hours before I can get the money back, because disputes and refunds are not processed together, they would need to have mythic cancel the refund and except the dispute, same time frame either way so I told them not to bother.
This is very very wrong, I work in a customer service field and HATE to be one of those people who say "How are you going to compensate me for this inconvenience?" But this isn't an "inconvenience" its just plain and simply putting MY CHILDREN in a situation I work very hard to insure they NEVER EVER should have to be in. Ill call mythic customer support and politely be the jerk I hate so much at my own work, but I don't like it.
When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead.
only stupid people need to server transfer...see what i did there?Originally Posted by Molo2366

Oh christ.
How many have been effected by this? It seems like more than I first thought when I saw the Post on the Off-topic forums of the European WoW site.
I smell quite a few Lawsuits incoming!
I guess charging 14.99 - 16.02 multiple times to an account, two days in a row, is NOT "Stupid".Originally Posted by Molo2366
Beside, charging for changes in your character is only natural, when you in real life want to change your name, you have to pay for it one way or another, just like you have to pay to take a plane or a taxi.

Because some players aren't looking for anything logical, like loot. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some players just want to watch the group fail.

Bought a month of WoW time and they charged my bank $300 (Multiple charges of random amounts like $13.58 $58.19 etc). Went to the bank and it fixed itself overnight fortunately.
Anyway ontopic. Feel really sorry for them, that is extremely bad.
