this is my current gear.
I recently go enough badges to get T10 head and i had T10 gloves in the bank so with that i would have my 4 pc bonus. Is it worth losing that much haste to get 4pc bonus?

I also got http://www.wowhead.com/item=51826 tonight. should i go for 4pc and put the haste cape on? even with that my haste will drop to about 740 haste.

what should i do?

also use abyssal rune or anything other than NMIC if you're rolling as a destro

4pc is worth 4.5% of your total dps without it.

Lets pretend you suck and your raid says "Fuck caster buffs." You do 6000 dps.
4pc is still worth 270 dps, which at 1.8 haste scaling is 150 Haste Rating, or 4.5% Haste. One item will never equal this amount.

Much, much better! Right now you only get 111 spell and some 2-3 crits every 3 minutes. Do you think that's better than 100-110(whatever the proc levels out to be, i forgot atm) and 83 haste?

How to calculate the average amount of a trinket proc:
Trinket Proc x Duration / Cooldown

Don't forget to factor in the time to proc - I usually add 5-10 seconds to the cooldown, depending on how low the proc rate is and how many different things can proc it.

Abyssal Rune = 590 x 10s / (45s + 5s (easy to proc)) = 118 spell power, on average.

NMIC = an average 12% crit across 5 DD spells. (20+16+12+8+4)/5 = 12
12% crit = ~530 Crit Rating.
Therefore, this proc is: 530 x 10 (avg time to cast 5 shadow bolts) / 180 (3 minute cooldown) = ~30 Crit Rating.

So:
118 SP + 84 Haste
vs
111 SP + 30 Crit
