About Us

Union is an old school raiding guild on EU-Outland PvP server, founded March 2005.

We cleared Sunwell Plateau in patch 2.4 (M'uru pre-nerf) and obtained Heroic Glory of the Raider in patch 3.0 and Heroic: Glory of the Ulduar Raider in patch 3.1. We defeated Algalon on 24/08/09 and Yogg0 few weeks later.

We have some great players, a few who have been members since our Molten Core days. We run a tight roster of players - if you can't be reliable, you're replaced - we carry no-one. We expect players to maintain a 90% raid attendance.

When we're not raiding 25 man content we are having fun on our alts or doing 10 man raids.. We're currently 11/12 ICC10 heroic and we obtained Glory of the Icecrown Raider on 25/03/10, and then a second run succeeded in doing every single achievement for a second GLory to the Icecrown Raider just a few weeks ago, netting a total of around 18 people in the guild with it now.
We've had numerous server firsts in ToGC including [A Tribute to Insanity] realm first.

Our GM/RL died last month. Due to that we had many players leave/quit the game. It was a tough time and we're looking to get back on our feet and start doing hardmodes again. We just need a few more people so we can start knocking over hardmodes again. At the moment we are doing guild ICC10 man runs as well as ICC25 PuGs setup by guildmates (11/12 usually with a handful of hardmodes). We have some great new players and need a few more skillful and dedicated players to get things rolling. We do aim to clear all content that the game offers and as quickly as possible.

Requirements

• You need to have good raiding experience - preferably ICC25 normal modes and some hardmode experience
• You need access to Ventrilo, a working mic and the ability to communicate well in English.
• You need to be highly active, we raid 5 days per week, 7pm - 11pm server-time (Sun-Thurs).
• You should be prepared to raid extra hours whilst trying new content.
• You will need to have good knowledge of your class. Your talents, glyphs, professions, gear choice and gemming should be of optimal performance for your character whilst raiding
• Dedication in obtaining non-raid upgrades (badge items, heroic instances, trade skills, etc.).
• We're looking for players that have the majority of their gear at i264 gear level. Anything lower won't be considered unless exceptional. We want to get back on track as quickly as possible so we'll need tanks who can take big hits, DPS who hit hard and healers who can keep everyone alive! Your gear should ideally be hardmode ready.

We're not looking for someone who just raids and then logs off until the next raid. We're really keen on people who either enjoy doing achievements, playing on alts or just playing the game. On off days, we do 10 man content and alt raids.
