    Dk solo tanking question

OK, so essentialy i was curious as to whether it would be possible for a blood tank with a 5kgs, mostly t9 gear, to solo the first boss,Bronjam(lolwat?), in normal Forge of Souls.

Taking the trash out of the equation, i can get a friend to help with that, but if i could get to the boss is there any reason why i couldnt?

Also what would be a good spec and rotation.

    Cheers

it would def. be possible. i mean, it has been solo'd on heroic by a DK already. the only thing is that you will constantly be targeted for the fear.

I doubt its even close to being possible, with Corrupt Souls healing him.

He will not use Corrupt Soul on the tank, even if that is the only person on his agro table. So this is a non-issue.

Beyond that... I would assume it would be possible. Trash is the hard part, but you said a freind would help. I did it on heroic from about 80% -> 0%. Our healer was pretty terrible and the group just died. Albeit my gear was better than yours' sounds.

Why get toughness, but not bladed armor? Why get Improved Blood Presence (I assume this means you are tanking in Frost Presenct making Bladed armor even better) but not Hysteria (the damage Hysteria causes is healed by Improved Blood Presence)? Why get Scent of Blood but not Bloody Strikes?

http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?deat...CnMWumE,,11723 probably something i would run with. u can get a extra death strike every 20 seconds, cause of reaping. im not sure if this is better than another spec, but ive noticed reaping is a lifesaver in arena. 3x death strike = 45% health.

    Don't like that one.

On Non-enrage fights maxing the healing is the greatest benefit. My plan was to use all unholy and frost runes on deathstrike and using the blood runes to refresh the diseases via pestilence-glyph. While blood usually trys to make heart strikes the majority of all attacks made, it serves as a filler only here and can be easily replaced by regenerating cooldowns withour affecting the basic healing two times per 10 seconds via deathstrike.
Damage comes from runestrike and deathstrike. Increased diseasetime is important for this so they ahve to be refreshed only every second time the blood runes are ready. Sudden doom is wasted since heart strike is replaced most of the time.
