As a general rule, any paladins with an emote macro'd to abilities is one that I won't invite back to a raid. It's like every random dk that has something macro'd to deathgrip.

As a general rule, if any raid leader has that much of a problem with yell macros, so much so that they must lack any form of a sense of humor and suffer from what is commonly referred to as 'sand in vag' syndrome, there raids aren't for me

This is coming from someone who doesn't use any yell macros, and probably never will.

There are exceptions to any rule. I usually top meters, HoP Healers, move out of fires and the like and I consider myself kind and patient while raiding, but I use these kinds of macros. You can be skilled and have that sense of humour - Never judge a book by its cover

Yelling random shit while using abilities isn't considered funny, it's plain annoying. SPECIALLY in combat.

I have a macro for redemption. It goes "/em calls upon the Light to redeem the soul of <target>." I got a complaint about that once. "Lol why do you have such a stupid rp emote?"
