<Sassafras> is a 25-man progression focused guild that has existed in various forms since early Burning Crusade. It's current iteration was formed at the start of Wrath of the Lich King, and we have remained the top Horde guild on Bronzebeard-US. Our schedule is on the lighter side, raiding 3 nights a week. Our current focus is Heroic Icecrown Citadel 25. We also do 10-man runs on off-nights, where we have completed Glory of the Icecrown Raider.
We offer a focused and efficient raiding environment where skilled players can experience everything that the game has to offer without the requirements of raiding 4 or more days a week. If you are not currently satisfied with your progression through the game, or you are looking for a lighter raiding schedule, Sassafras may be the guild you are looking for.
We use a custom points-based system for distributing loot drops, which rewards attendance and new boss kills, and penalizes poor performance and missed raids.
About You
We are looking for players that can immediately contribute to our progression. We are primarily a PvE guild, so you should be a raider at heart willing to do whatever it takes for a raid to succeed.
Knowledge of 11/12 Icecrown Citadel bosses (10 or 25 man) preferred. Heroic experience a plus.
At least iLevel 251+ gear, fully gemmed and enchanted.
A min/max understanding of your class's mechanics.
At least 90% raid attendance, with advance warning given if you cannot attend.
Come prepared to raids with consumables, such as flasks and potions/elixirs. Fish feasts will be provided. Guild repairs are provided during progression.
Mature 18+ years old preferred.
Stable internet connection and decent FPS required. If you disconnect repeatedly during raids, please do not apply.
Able to use Ventrilo with a working microphone.
No standing in fire, no matter which color it is.
Current Needs
We are currently opening recruitment for exceptional players of all classes. If you meet our criteria and perform well, you will get a consistent core raiding position. We are recruiting to resolve weaknesses within our current raiding roster and with an eye towards the Cataclysm expansion.
1-2 Tanks
3-4 Ranged DPS
3-4 Melee DPS
2-3 Healers
