Nefandum is an English speaking 10-man raiding guild on Al'Akir. While having a semi-casual approach on PvE, our goal is to clear all current content and to have fun while doing it.
The guild was formed in July 2009. Since then, we have been struggling for the sake of progress.
Icecrown Citadel (10 player) - 11/12 (HC) Glory of the Icecrown Raider - May 6, 2010
Call of the Grand Crusade (10 player) - 5/5 A Tribute to Insanity - Oct 22, 2009
The Secrets of Ulduar (10 player) - 14/14 Observed - Oct 11, 2009
Glory of the Ulduar Raider - Oct 3, 2009
We try to keep our raiding roster as small as possible to maintain a solid and constant 10-man raid group for every raid. This is accomplished by recruiting people who can show up for raids often.
Currently, our plans are to get Halion down in 10-man heroic version (1% wipe best try), and to defeat The Lich King in 10-man heroic version. To speed up the process, we are recruiting.
The raiding times get occasionally extended, if you have to leave every time exactly at 00.00, it's not worth applying.
On other days, we raid additional 10-man instances, especially when in progression mode.
In-week raids usually start at 20.00 and normally end before 00.00.
While we don't require you to raid every day, showing up for progression raids is vital for guild's progress. We do not tolerate people who are raiding just for loot and intentionally skipping progression raids since they don't like to wipe. Wiping, a.k.a learning the encounters is an unavoidable process that is required for progressing. If you are not used to it, you won't last here for long.
Applying
We are recruiting the following classes and specs:
Death Knight: Tank
Druid: Tank
Hunter
Mage
Paladin: Holy/Protection
Priest: Holy/Disc/Shadow
Shaman: Resto/Ele
Warrior: Protection
All exceptional applicants are welcome!
We expect our recruits to be highly motivated, competitive, and active. If you are interested in joining, you must be on top of your game. Doing theory-craft about your class is a big plus.
In addition to playing skills, the recruit needs to have a mature attitude and social skills. After all, raiding is about teamwork. We are not interested of whiners nor arrogant elitists. If you like to flame others or play a caps-lock-warrior, don't bother.
