this calculator is totally wrong. There is like 5 or 6 tiers in the trees and it only takes three points to go down a tier not five. Plus I'm pretty sure your pet only gets a talent point ever 4 levels or so. I'm not positive on that one.

Those trees are correct. You do indeed need only 3 points per tier.

edit: And indeed you get 1 point per 4 levels starting at 20, so you get 16 points at level 80. BM hunters get to spend 5 extra points.

This is the new pet talent tree, Not the new Hunter talent tree. It is very interesting and most likely real.
