I left out Earthquake because as it looks now, it's pretty much useless.

Ancestral Resolve is more of a pvp ability. I'd drop those 2 points and put them in to convection and unrelenting storms which is how I made my spec when I was looking at it.

I dont see how you would go for anything else. If you dont want earthquake drop the point and put in convection but really whats the point. You dont need damage reducing talents its a pve spec.

you have to get the 31pt talent to be able to put points in the other trees ... so ... ya.

No, you need to spend 31 points, you don't have to get the 31-point talent.

While Ancestral Knowledge doesn't give a dps benefit, 10% damage reduction that will be up all the time unless you're moving is a lot. It will keep you alive more than you think. I'm however not on beta to see if 3/3 Unrelenting Storm is actually needed.

you need 31 talent points in the ele tree to switch trees so you cant have SS

I don't see why ANYONE would leave out Ancestral Resolve for any Elemental spec.

Depending on how badly the mana issues are with Elemental, I can also see dropping the 3 points in Ancestral Knowledge into Spark of Life. ::Edit:: seeing as how you need more points to progress down the elemental tree, Elemental Warding might be better than Knowledge. Sorry Spark of Life lovers.

Improved Fire Nova really won't be very useful. We'd have earthquake for AoEs, and there'd be little need to have another instant-cast on big movement boss fights now that we have Spiritwalker's grace, unleash weapon, shocks and elemental mastery(on a shorter cooldown now with feedback).
