So... 4.0.1... and Frost DKs

I was debating whether to post my thoughts on the recent blue post on the front page which states the arena season will end on October 12th.

My first though is "F**k yeah! In your face!" to the many people who, after seeing the internal (unofficially announced) release date postponed who were screeching from the tallest tower that we will not see the patch before November. Also it's an "I-told-you-so" towards the folks who yesterday were stating that "To get the new patch by early October, they would need to announce the end of the arena season either today or tomorrow, and that's highly unlikely" Well, would you look at that? They announced it.

(except me doing the "I was right" dance)

Also, on the subject of frost DKs, are there any generally used specs yet? D o you guys prefer the point in Lichborne or On A Pale Horse? Where do you put your points in the Blood/Unholy trees?

I haven't seen a decent discussion on Frost since the PTR began, so let's get one going!

Im on the PTR and i use On a Pale horse, one if im questing i get there quicker, especially with the 310% speed mount +20% so yea its good. plus good for casual pvpers

I'll probably use one of the speccs above (needless to say, DW specc, and yes, if I were using 2hander, I might go for Lichborn and On a pale Horse)

Why are you picking MotFW if your spec is clearly DW? or ToT and NoCS if you go 2h?
Virulence is pretty much useless to Frost because the only spell is HB, not even a 25% of your total damage. Anyways we dont know about lvl 85 hit caps yet AFAIK. IF your specs are PVE, you must go for BCB and BA

After a while testing on dummies, i scrapped the priority system and gone back to a strict rotation , very similar to Unholy rotation. HB glyph taken into account, IT is useless... also, ignoring Runic Empowerment procs is a must, if not it destroys the rotation:

1.-HB>>PS>>Ob>>BS>>BS>>Bloodtap+PoF>>dump(FS)

2.-Ob>>Ob>>Ob>>dump>>

3.-BS>>BS>>Ob>>Ob>>dump>> back to step 1

Rotation is the same for DW and 2h, the difference is that 2h gives more FS due to the massive RP generation, and higher BCB numbers (BCB not affected by ToT).I noticed Obliterate, BS and FS striking higher on 2h spec

On DW spec Razorice allows higher FS and HB hits and higher DPS, tho it provides the same damage dealt as 2h
