How to know if Background Downloader is working?

How do we tell if the Background Downloader is working?

you lag in game :P
but check the bottom right on your taskbar and check for a blue little blizzard icon and double click it to see if its dling

Thats the thing. I dont see the little Blizzard icon in the taskbar. I went through the set up like the front page said. but nothing happen

1) Start WoW via the launcher, not directly.
2) Make sure that the WoW launcher has apprioriate Windows access, else it won't be allowed to start up the downloader.
3) If all else fails, to to your installed WoW folder and look for the background downloader application and start it up manually.
