quick question re tanking

I currently have absolutely no tanking gear what so ever but with the removal of defense am I right in thinking that with a tanking spec and gear with a shit load of stamina (pvp gear for now!) I should be able tank 5man heroics?

I know I will lack parry and what not but it shouldn't be a major issue for 5man heroics no?

Can't see any major issue with this. You'll take maybe double the amount of damage that a well geared tank does but considering a well geraed tank can more or less selfheal their way thru a 5man atm then this shouldn't be a problem.

Well I just spec'd as a tank for the first time ever and just ran through 5man heroic and nobody died and it was pretty quick run so not to bad I guess! and I'm in furious/wrathful gear lol

Well I tanked heroics in frost spec (dps) in dps gear and blood presence (prepatch) on my ret paladin and fury warrior, nothing new here
