reading through some of these posts, people are to worried about BiS gear it seems, as a feral the difference between BiS and same ilvl gear has a very small impact on damage outputs, I have not even killed H Rag (has 2 bis pieces) and i was able to place 14 on H MajorHomo.

Because Majordomo H is the best dps test fight...absolutely the best one to compare yourself to the others.The only fight in Firelands that you can check your dps and is really competeable is Baleroc.

How is that possible when 2t12 is so good(1.4Kdps in my gear)?And will scale alot with a better weapon from t13.And as long as i remeber your calculations about t13 bonuses, they are not so great, not even close to 2t12.

Even if 2T12 is really good, 4T13 is a lot better still.

Using bis gear in mew 4.3:

2T11: 705 dps
4T11: 820 dps
2T12: 1586 dps
4T12: 725 dps (bit higher with haste procs like hungerer/matrix)
2T13: 948 dps
4T13: 2128 dps

Ye i see.The initial calculations about t13 bonuses were totally different and thats why was wondering how il384 can be better than il391.Btw i think that mew is not calculating properly the damage proc trinket, cause a guy on the ptr tested it and told that the damage proc is 8% of the overall damage done and criting for almost 90K which will put it ahead of the other BiS trinket in your list.

Assuming the way it currently works is intended and isn't bugged, you need to get one of these...

Seems to be a 30 second ICD with a fairly high proc rate when not on CD, and the attack scales 1:1 with AP meaning if you have 20k AP, the attack is 32-38k. Possibly slightly lower ICD with a lower proc chance as I did see a few 28-29 second gaps between procs but I was having slight lag issues so it might just be that. The attack seemed to pretty much go off like clockwork every 28-32 seconds.

Tested two extremes, naked with only enhance spec taken for DW on L60 dummy and full gear full rotation on boss dummy, and in 10+ minutes there was no noticeable difference in the number of procs which leads me to think the proc chance is really high and the ICD is most likely 30sec.

Alright, doing a quick sim with these mechanics would put it at 4494 dps, right behind the 4784 of Wrath of Unchaining, and quite a bit ahead of Kiroptyric Sigil (3856) and Wrath of Unchaining normal (4246)

Some new info about Vial of Shadows became available, and Mew was updated accordingly.
- 25sec icd
- 15% proc chance
- procs can be parried, dodged, missed and can crit
- procs scale with attackpower in a 1:1 ratio

Glyph setup used is rip/berserk/tiger's fury, except for the on use trinkets (kiroptyric sigil/ancient petrified seed) which use bloodletting instead of tiger's fury.

I was unable to get less than 800 expertise rating and 780 hit rating in bis gear, so that's not really something to worry about.

Are you sure Mihir? I know in my set up I'm using the Crystalized Firestone Relic, and I'm able to get 10 below Expertise cap.

I need to figure out what is going on in Rawr then if Vial is coming in as BiS. My internal list is giving me Vial as 7th BiS, behind H, N, LFR Wrath and H, and N Starcatcher. It may have to do with the Energy regen in the rotation module. If so, then there is nothing I can do about it until I can get around to completely redoing the rotation module. Thing needs a desperate upgrade over the current iteration (given that it is based on Tang's old code, you wonder why Yawning scrapped it recently). I know what type of Formulation to use, but it is a VERY complex formulation and it just needs time before being implemented.

The relative stats on glyphs he gave are for Ultraxion only. That is due to the fact that you are in front of the boss, but you are unable to parry. But you are still unable to shred (which is surprising since on madness, you can "shred" even though your attacking in the front).

Tigers Fury becomes more beneficial once you have the 4T13. Until then no it is not as beneficial as Bloodletting.

I think he was referring to post you made where the glyphs to use are:

Rip
Mangle
Tiger's Fury

or something like that. Where mangle was the glyph to switch out for Ultraxion or something.

Surely TF becomes more valuable once you get 2T13 already, since you GoS/GoBL only affects the first 40% of the fight, instead of 75% of the fight.

I haven't really been raiding/reading/playing WoW the last month or two, just doing Rag kills to help out in hopes of not burning myself out to raid in 4.3. Doing a quick read through here I'm gathering that Mastery and Haste will be basically equal in BIS gear, so you shouldn't have to reforge out of either. You also said you were unable to go below our hit/exp caps even reforging out of them, so that's a plus as far as I'm concerned. And then glyph of shred gets replaced by TF I'm assuming with 4p for the extra ravages yes?

I'm sure there will be some write up when the release date is announced, I'm just curious. Don't want to wait til the last minute to get back in touch with what I need to do for raiding.

When exactly is patch 4.3 due? I have recently heard from a few people on different places that it will be released the upcoming maintenance day, which I find rather surprising. I expected it to hit live 7 December myself, or 14 December at the latest, due to the announcement of the date of season 10's end. You obviously need a source to back up the information.
