Destro - Noobish questions

I read the excellent Destro sticky "Your world will burn...."

but i still have some points i need help on and others may too.... - dont flame !


1. On multiple mobs is seed of corr now defunct? ( i used it as aff, my prev main spec)or is ROF back in?
2. Life Tap is only an emergency mana generator - correct?
3. The article said that we should keep Conflag "on cooldown" and I am not clear on when we should cast it - other than understanding that we shouldnt pop it after impr soul fire because its a waste of a haste buff - when should we cast it?
4.Shadow bolt is dead because the crit buff is gone -correct?

6. Fear with Glyph of Fear is now a completely new spell - why is nobody mentioning it as it is now a useful control spell - imo
7. Finally - corruption is now so feeble that its worthless? i ran pos 40 times for that damm trink

i think for 7 he is talking about the ice crystal. im not sure exactly, weirdly stated however i have always had corruption up as it is a DPS boost currently for Destro.

sorry for the rambling in 7 - it was the Never Melting Ice Crystal trink for the rolling corruption as an aff lock that i was running pos for but its now useless so i can just concentrate on icc trinks

on Point 4 - i thought the crit buff came from a talent which is now removed?

4. The crit buff still exists, but other classes can also bring it. Shadowbolt is dead because Incinerate does more damage when you have Immolate on the target (and probably when you don't).

Well, as far as i know, Aff locks use SB as filler.
It is dead for desto on the other hand.

tinkering every 30 seconds your 1,2 sec shadowbolts wont hurt you and will buff your raid greatly
