    Your Raiding Spec in Cataclysm

Basically, after a bit of playing around, http://www.wowtal.com/#k=BvG5U_wfvBWIAV.9gq.hunter is what I have gotten. Obviously it needs some work, but lets see what everybody else thinks?

I tried looking at it myself, and played around a bit, but I could not find a MM spec that looked proper really.

About your spec, you seem to rely heavily on pet focus regen? Why not put the points in Bestial Discipline and put them either in Focused Aim, or... hm..

No really, both MM and the SV tree look like a mess to me.

Yeah, MM is a mess with the new tree, the reason I leaned toward focus regen on pet, is because they heavily nerfed go for the throat, so just one point in it won't cut it until a bit higher gear levels, as for bestial discipline, I just have no clue where to put the points otherwise. The second Tier of SV is useless from a PvE standpoint, Master Marksman looks like a fun talent to me though. I assume the trees will be heavily cleaned up come cataclysm.

Seems like BM is the only way to go right now that wouldn't waste points... SEEMS.

A spec I've been thinking about for a time now, is this: www (dot) wowtal.com/#k=-tpKMyaL_XX00.9gq.hunter

At the moment the only really 'powerful' combination I see. But then again I'm not really a theorycrafter, so I might be horribly wrong.

Sorry for not linking, my post count is low.

I got a spec made, but it seems like it would be more for fun. :X

I have a number of talents that seem odd to take, but everything seems so messy in the Marks tree right now.

So much for completely redoing talent trees.
You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.

BM for me, I'm an A.D.D. kid who is most happy spamming everything, focus regen calls to me. I actually find myself wishing I had more and more points to spend. I believe high level hunters will be skipping focus talents with the already added focus regen of BM, once we and our pets reach high crit levels again and have a ton of mastery for passive regeneration bonus.

Always been a BM fan so I am going with this build as the tree stands.

I'm not so sure Imp Serpent Sting is going to be any good, since you only apply it once, so instant damage will not really help much, unless that effect is added to the Chim-Serp damage, which I doubt it is?

I would think Fervor would be a good pickup also, in any spec.

Does anyone else find it strange we can still provide Replenishment in SV?

I have the same thought as Kalti. I'm favoring with:

    http://www.wowtal.com/#k=v1UiXbMnaXJhn.9gq.hunter

I figure Intimidation is a bit of utility and then the BM tree seems to provide a bit more potential DPS than Survival to pair with marks. Of course only time will tell.

Edit: my only complaint is that Resistance Is Futile seems like a purely PvP talent but it's a required pre-req to Marked For Death, a standard PvE talent.

Clearly, tanks will have to keep bosses moving for all MM hunters in the raid!

And the Warriors for the new bleed! This will work out nicely!

I'd doubt it. Not to shoot you down, but it's just a gold standard that no class in this game does more damage while moving than while standing still. It's that sort of thing that allows them to make "stand still" moves that do lots of damage for PvE but keep them in line for PvP. It seems like making constant motion an inherent part of PvE would throw off a lot of "meta balance" they have in the game already.

I got http://www.wowtal.com/#k=v2bonRVJrBcQNY.9gq.hunter, thought that it wouldnt be worth it to dig that much in sv tree but seriously the serpent sting talent belongs in the mm tree

Ignore original post, I didn't read tooltips carefully enough.

Frankly, all the trees are just too damn dirty to get a clear idea of what specs are going to be like. Case and point - Tier 1 Beast Mastery. BOTH those talents are essentialy for DPS but Tier 2 in the same tree sucks for DPS. Just seems very trashy and thrown together.
