Sun Shafts in Northrend?

Are there no sun shaft fx in Northrend? I noticed them on Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdom but not in Northrend

There is, it could just be the fact that there isnt really much direct sun in northrend, most if not all zones have a unique skybox without the sun in it, like the clouds over icecrown for example.

unlike the old world where 90% of zones have normal cloudy sky + sun.

Man, I haven't even been able to notice any Sunshafts in Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms... I have the option turned on, so my graphics card and driver can clearly support it... but I just don't get the sunshaft effects.

Its pretty hard to see ground level...but Barrens is a good place

I see sun shafts in Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Crystal Song and Howling Fjord. I'm sure the sun shafts will be seen more in Cataclysm as this is what the function was made for.
