I'm not 'caught up' but I've been reading a lot of the chapters released recently, Gintama works just fine that way thankfully! May have to see which chapter the anime adaptation ended at soon.

It would honestly be worth reading the whole thing to me. The only series for me to beat Gintama is One Piece, so I honestly don't know why I didn't read it before.

The really scary thing would be if she was yandere.

Fun day at work. Incredibly long lines with a lot of irritated customers and I was the only one working the desk. Not to mention the phone was ringing off the hook the entire day (generally get 4-5 calls a day, got closer to 60 and I was only there for 5 hours). Had a lady throw her money at me and a guy threaten to call the cops on me too while cussing me out. Yay!

Time to go get high as fuck.

another friend jsut recommended dark elf trilogy? good rec? bad rec?

It's my absolute favorite series. The author is also my favorite. I own all of his books, have a good portion of them signed, and some of the Collectors Edition copies too.

I always get his books the day they come out.

Not to mention it's quite an epic tale. Currently encompassing over 30 books (a large number, but it makes the characters insanely lovable and an absolutely massive and intricate tale, don't let it scare you).

Isn't Avatar going to be a trilogy? I wasn't really a fan of the first but genuinely curious.

There's a new trilogy that will focus on the world instead of the characters from the first movie.

I'm one of the few that enjoyed Avatar. I know the story has been done to death, but haven't all stories? We watch anime with far less original plots than the one in Avatar and we're just fine with that.

By the way, it's funny how everyone accepts "Adamantium" as normal in fantasy/SF universes, but "Unobtanium" and "Transformium" raise protests at supposedly "silly" names. Adamantium is adamant, Unobtanium is so rare to be nigh-unobtainable, Transformium transforms. It all checks out.

If people looked at the true names of some minerals and thought about it a bit they'd realize how absolutely ridiculous some of the names are. The person who discovers it can name it whatever wacky thing he or she wants to.
