    Whale Shark in 1000 needles?

    So I was exploring yesterday, went to the shimmering flats and went underwater, then I saw a big thing, hovered over it and it said "Whale Shark" lvl ?? boss and it was dead..

    I didn't take a picture because, well I thought he was supposed to be there, since I hadn't read much about him before now, where I see that he's supposed to be in Kelp'thar forest?
    Did someone kite him or what the hell happened?

    there is one there, and it's always dead. presumably got sucked in when the walls collapsed.

    Probably there just to indicate that there are (or at least were) more than one whale shark on Azeroth. Pretty sure he got washed into the canyon during the flooding of it.

    Guildy of mine was jumped by him aswell, said it was moving at GM speed. Could be more than one whale shark in the world (of warcraft) or just a bug or something.

    EDIT: Oh interesting, wowhead wins again.

    He didn't ask if it's there... He asked if it had any purpose other than being pretty pixels in thousand needles, which apparently it does not.

    Yeah, there's one is Vash if I remember from beta. Lots of fun since he can't be tanked and he hits for about 100K or something similar.

    There's more than one whale shark in Vash'jir as well. I was on the beta and saw two of them at once, even. This dead one does not surprise me.

    Please don't make things up, if he hits for less than a tank's HP pool he can be tanked with a sufficient group of healers.

    ooh he is tankable thats what they say about the new gamon 2.
    but still some 80ish from darksorrow tanks him at 80. while he is 85
