Question Why is Garrosh orange? I'm just trying to understand.

I'm not a lore fanatic, I'm note even a lore n00b in that I know only a few hints of the Old Gods, the Titans, and some speculation here and there... but, for the life of me, I can't figure out why Garrosh Hellscream is orange. I watched a video a long time ago where Thrall and Gron (his father) were fighting against Mannaroth and he was green, how did he have an orange kid?

    Any thoughts?

EDIT: Found the link to the video

That was Grom Hellscream (Garrosh's father) who fought Mannoroth. Garrosh is a Mag'har, which are uncorrupted orcs. The green skin comes from the demonic corruption, with which Garrosh was unaffected. The quests in Nagrand and Hellfire, to a lesser extent, explain this.

That was Grom, Garrosh's father, who was corrupted by the demons. Garrosh was silk and in Garadar, and is a Mag'har orc, who remained untainted by the demonic energies his father and the other orcs consumed that turned them green. Brown is the orc's original color. Don't ask me why he's more orange than brown.

I have no idea either... Maybe he sat in the sun too long?

"Thrall and Garrosh were fighting against Mannaroth"
It was Thrall and Garrosh's dad... Grom Hellscream.
And the reason I personally think he is orange maybe he was conceived when Grom was still effected by the demons blood.

Did Thrall drink Mannoroth's blood ?
For some reason i thought that he was born in Azeroth and never drank it.

The orc in the video of which you're referring is actually Grom Hellscream, Garrosh's father. He was leader of the Warsong Clan and, through an excellent story, was the one to fell Mannaroth. Garrosh, the whole time, remained on Draenor, not corrupted with the demonic blood as his father was. Thus, he is an all natural orc, which come in varying hues. Hope this answers your question. My question though, is, why can't he close his mouth? Did a disease pass from bear druids to poor Garrosh, perhaps one that forces you to lose muscle tone in your jaw or something?

Edit: And in the time it took me to type this up, its been answered for you. On a side note, Thrall was born of orc parents who were already corrupted. He was born with green skin, in other words.

An he's not orange, get over it.

That's a good question, as Durotan refused to drink the blood of Mannoroth and Thrall was born in Azeroth.

Edit: Durotan still refused to drink the blood and was exiled by Gul'dan after the crossing into Azeroth, him and the entire Frostwolf Clan.

No one in the frostwolf clan drank the blood.

I also want to know what he is so red, in the past he is brown

Thrall was found by humans when he was a baby.
Did the Orcs force the babies to drink demonic blood ? If not, he should be brown too. I don't think Durotan would force his own son to drink demonic blood as a baby.

Also, Drek'thar served with Durotan and even managed to be one of the first Shamans after the demonic taint. Thrall should NOT be green.

If Durotan drinking the blood turned Thrall green, and Grom was green, so therefore presumably drank the blood, why isn't Garrosh green? Or did Grom drink after Garrosh was born?
