I thought so too when I moved in the mac under there but haven't thought much of it since. Granted the desk isn't very big (heck I had to put up the second screen on the wall since there was no place for its foot), but it's simply due to apartment size and how much I could spare.
Moving soon..ish and the tiny desk won't come with me, though. Have a bigger one laying in storage atm.
By the end of the year they'll all be full of crap, I promise!
Indeed. Even more than I've got. ;o
However. In time for my new build, I'll most likely get four 2TB WDC:B for RAID10 and then two for RAID0 as a FRAPS-drive (although I do hate raid0 with a passion), and most likely a big RAID5 or RAID6-array with 5-6 2TB 5400s for use of moviestorage, and just drop an SSD into the planned HTPC as well (it was originally intended to house the RAID5/6-array, and be used as a NAS/HTPC)
Good thing my education is nearing its end, so I can start hoarding in the money. D:
My build is complete! (almost) I've got a few more fans and new fan cables/splitters coming in the mail tomorrow.
Theres the front of the case. The LEDs are actually white. My iPhone seems to be playing tricks.
I chose to forego the DVD drive. It really didn't seem necessary and I would have had to run an extra power and SATA cable for it.
You might be able to see the kill coil in the reservoir.. Not really aesthetically pleasing. When I clean the loop I'll probably switch to PT nuke.
Here's the inside. I finally got to add in the Xonar Essence STX. It sounds amazing.
I'm a real nut for cable management. Sorry about the lighting.. My basement is really dark.
Side shot with the door on. You can see where the side fan is supposed to go. I took the stock one out, waiting for its replacement tomorrow.
My idle temps haven't budged an inch, but my load temps are amazing. I was getting 80-85C with an NH-D14, but with the fans on high, I'm getting 64C and with the radiator fans @ 800rpm I get 70C.
When the fans are at 800rpm, the whole system is sooo quiet I think it might even make Tetris jealous.
Oh.. Anybody care to guess the weight of the final build?

i7 930 @ 4.0Ghz | Sapphire HD5970 w/ Accelero Xtreme | ASUS P6X58D Premium | 32GB Kingston DDR3-1600
Xonar Essence STX | 128GB Vertex 4 | AX750 | Xigmatek Elysium
Laing D5 | XSPC RX 360mm | Koolance RP-452X2 | EK-Supreme HF
Dell 3007WFP-HC | Samsung BX2350 | Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate | Razer Naga Molten | Sennheiser HD650
Yea, that's the sole reason I will go full liquid on my next build. The. Only.
Also, I'm guessing your fans pick up UV-light somewhere.
props on using the koolance reservoir, i just switched to that after my frozenQ double helix practically shattered itself to pieces in my case, as far as weight goes, your case is much bigger then mine, but you have less internal weight, i have several pounds of copper waterblocks, and 4 radiators, and more hard drives, but i think yours might be close, mine weighs 72 lbs
We have the exact same Logitech speakers. Great choice good sir!!
and I want a corner desk just like that thing. Gorgeous.

What CPU/stuff do you have in there? Specs specs!!!

Only $6,000? I'll have one by the end of the world in Dec 2012!
Synthaxx will have one tomorrow.
All the other regs sometime between him and I! ^_^ And then we'll have a super LAN party. :P
No seriously that thing looks fucking amazing and I want one.
Imagine bringing it to LAN. You'd wake up in your own funeral.
(Future build)
MoBo: Intel P67- SATA 6Gb/s x2 (Onboard sound chipset, RealTek)
CPU: Intel i5-2300- 2.8 GHz, 4x256KB L2, 6 MB L3
Gfx: PNY GTX 580- PCIe2.0 x16]x2, 1.5 GB
RAM: SDDR3 1600 2x4GB
HDD: Seagate 1TB, 7200 RPM, 32 MB Cache
Future plans to RAID 0 & a sound card when I can afford it. Also SLI another GTX580. Currently the price tag on this is around $1K
on this topic im looking to get a new monitor, looking for a led 27 inch at least

So you choose a P67 chipset motherboard, but not an overclocking CPU? Why? You realize the main reason behind P67 is basically, "Overclock me." right?
I'd suggest an EVGA, MSI, or Asus branded GTX 580 over a PNY.
Go for a Samsung Spinpoint F3 HDD instead of Seagate, my Seagate 1TB caused lots of Windows 7 crashes until I reinstalled Win7 on an SSD. Not saying it's because it was HDD to SSD, more-so because I think the installation or drive were faulty, however the drive has been fine for data storage. Still, Samsung Spinpoint F3 is a better buy.
What brand of RAM and their variant do you plan to buy, or would you like suggestions?

That's why you'd make it a LAN party for only owners of these fancy shmancy chairs. ^_<
Wait. You. You would kill me?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!
:'( I THOUGHT WE WERE BEST FRIENDS!!!
Future build is what he said. He hasn't ordered yet apparently.
Oh I know, that's why I was making sure he knew what he was ordering ahead of time. :P
@conqq, nice choice on the RAM! G Skill has some truly great deals.
If you're trying to keep the budget low, I'd honestly drop to a GTX570. You'll save a couple hundred, because anyways, the 580 isn't that much of a stronger card than the 570, and unless you're running at truly ridiculous resolutions and insane games, a couple 570s SLI'd (later on of course as you said) will do the trick!
Like I said though man, if you're aiming for a P67 board, don't cut yourself short on the CPU, the 2500K is honestly like $35 more, and then you can just easily bump the multiplier up to 40 and the BCLK at 100MHZ and boom, 4GHZ quad-core CPU. I'll tell ya right now, an i5-2300, a 2.8GHZ quad core would, I'm quite sure of it, bottle-neck the monster that is the GTX 580.
Is it safe to overclock with the stock cooler?
