He's definitely got a great brother to be gifting things that nice, cudos!

Nice looking build, too. PSU is a little excessive but gives it room for another 980 if your brother chooses to do so.

Is that the NZXT Hue btw?

    It is an NZXT hue!

I got the PSU with future potential SLI in mind if he expands out of 1080p.

I hope he feels the same way that you do about me being a good brother. I haven't always treated him the best way and we weren't close but since I left for college a few months ago I've definitely missed him and want to make amends. Hope he enjoys it . Last year I made him a spare parts PC with an i5-2320 and a GTX 760 but he's a huge Assassins Creed fan and after seeing the performance requirements on that I thought he could use an upgrade for Unity

Effort alone should be enough to make amends. Good luck to you!

And yea, I wanted to get the hue for my build especially since the strips look a little nicer than there standard LED strips plus for the RGB, but I had no space for another bay without giving up a dvd drive . Maybe I'll come around after seeing that it actually does a nice bit of lighting on that build.

Hope he enjoys it! He better!

The fisheye effect on the second picture had me worried about that perceived motherboard flex, Inux
And aside from my usual complaints about aesthetics lacking motherboard backplate and overly much on the PSU side, it looks really great.

Ahhhh why is that tape there on the PSU! WHY!?!? /ocd

Also it could use a spritzing with a duster
If you must insist on using a non-sanctioned sitting apparatus, please consider the tensile strength
of the materials present in the object in question in comparison to your own mass volumetric density.

In other words, stop breaking shit with your fat ass.

    Temperature gauge for a fan-controller?

(Also, it took me several minutes to notice what else than having removed the other side panel had changed. I kept looking at fans, fan orientation, memory, storage..)

Ahh, well someone get them some black electrical tape then! Though I shouldn't really talk as mine could use a good cleaning/organizing too :\

@ everyone about the 980 for WoD:

Of course I bought it for other games too, just said WoD because it was coming out that night >.<
Bought mainly because my 580's keep dying and BSODing, so supplier at work helped me out and traded my 2x 580s for a heavily discounted 980

Upgrading the rest of the PC because I need a better one at work that isn't a Celeron, just waiting on a few things to come in.

My biggest dilemma is deciding on the Define R4 or Obsidian 350/450 (help me decide)

Define R4 would be my choice of the 3, mainly because i like the exterior better

Although, after a quick look through pcp I did come across the H440, which looks reaaaaal nice. Also saw the H230, which looks quite a bit like the Define, albeit missing some features(like the rubber gromets on the interior cable management slots) due to being cheaper.

Judai, we can't know that with you not mentioning it in the initial post.

... exactly so no reason to jump to conclusions either. There were plenty of reasonable reason to why one might get rid of an old SLI setup.

Seems reasonable to me then in that case :-)

The Define R4. Easily the best case I have ever used.

I have the 350D and, while I love the looks, it got some serious sound-proofing issues. Namely that it got no sound-proofing whatsoever but rather amplifies things. I'd go Define R4 if I'd buy a case today.
