so i was wondering if Trolls are suppose to be jamaicans then what about he other races?
before posting read below

so here are my theories of each race, try to format it like this and a little explanation under it.

Alliance
Humans: Americans
Night Elves: French/European
Dwarfs: Irish
Gnomes: maybe Jewish?
Dreanei: Russian
Worgen: british

Horde
Orc: Arabs in 632 and/or Spartans
Troll: black/Jamaican
Undead: ???
Tauren: Native Americans
Blood Elves: "insert LGBT joke here", otherwise ???
Goblins: maybe Jewish?

orcs were kind of hard but because of their rapid expansion it kind of reminded me of the Muslim expansion in 632, the Arabians were very warrior like people at the time and sweeping down and defeating the Byzantines and the Persians was not a walk in the park. and i chose Spartans because how much importance Honor and Battle is.

Tbh there's no concrete answer for most of them. Blood elves have a bit of a french accent but the architecture of the city is very Arabian. It has that Aladdin feel to it. And just because Draenei have an indian dance doesn't make them indian. Listen to the accent, it's more Russian than anything. The only really obvious ones are tauren, troll, worgen and maybe gnomes.

gnomes- german... they do have that inventive streak
night elves - japanese

worgen- transylvanian

horde:
orcs- more savage indigenous people or like the vikings.
tauren- peaceful indigenous people like native americans
jungle trolls -island people like jamaicans, hawaiians, samoans.
undead - european barbarians.
blood elves- asian
goblins- ...they're goblins.

in vanilla it seemed like the more "civilized" alliance element was trying to rid the world of the more savage natural element, well except for the undead...
the original alliance races reminded me of the axis with their silverhand being the ss.

Anyone care to justify Humans as American for me?
I really don't see it, they seem to be more like renaissance Europeans, but with medieval aspects, such as a Paladin order, and some more recent technology too.

As for the other races:
Gnomes don't fit anything.
Night Elves seem to be a combination of Japanese and Celtic architecture and way of life
Dwarves seem to be like Germans, but also with elements of Scottish - their land and accent mostly.
Draenei don't fit anything well, they have an undetermined accent, but have beliefs similar to some eastern customs, as in their reluctance to harm nature, evidenced in their starting zone.
Orcs don't fit anything that I can think of.
Trolls seem to be based on Voodoo religions, but with some extra cannibalism and viciousness thrown in.
Tauren seem to be based on the classic plains indians.
Undead are like nothing we see on Earth.
Blood Elves aren't either really.
