With the reduced tame time it's not that impressive. Taming the beast before patch 4.0.1 gave a better challenge.

Not really, just your standed Core hound with Lava Breath, but with Spikes that would impale ya
but it DOES give you the say, you tamed the prick after all the times you wanted to do it, back in your 60s

Way to poop on his joy, seeing as you could only tame Chromaggus as of 4.0.3a, saying it would have been more impressive to have it done a few patches ago is just stupid. As he could not be tamed AT ALL! Originally Posted by Putress

Grats, yea we did it patch day for a friend. Took a rogue, pally, shaman, and the hunter. Shaman lusted, hunter blew all his tricks and busted into threat, rogue tricks and then stopped dps while the pally healed(not really needed) with glyphed salv. Cake for an beautiful corehound named Chromie.

You can not get past the first boss without 4 of 5 people. For the Chromaggus part you really only need hunter + healer as you have to tank it and no one else can hit it. The rest is tank and spank. Did it yesterday for my hunter and then with alts for a guildie of mine. Awesome skin, grats!

You dont need a healer, he does like barley any damage, just /cast tame and wait piss easy, unless your a level 60 hunter wanting THEN i say you will be needing to healed. Originally Posted by Valerius
